Mixed Martial Arts (MMA)

Discover the ultimate combo of striking and grappling

Our mixed martial arts (MMA) classes are for ages 14+, and for beginners all the way to experienced athletes. Whether your goal is competing or building fitness and confidence, MMA develops your physical ability and mental resilience in a structured environment.

What is mixed martial arts?

Mixed martial arts (MMA) blends techniques from multiple disciplines, including Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), wrestling, Muay Thai and boxing. It also builds confidence, strength, full-body fitness and cardiovascular endurance. Our classes focus on:

  • Stand-up striking and defence
  • Takedowns, clinch work and grappling
  • Ground control and BJJ submissions
  • Movement, balance and coordination
  • Technique and timing

Our classes teach you how to link techniques seamlessly across different ranges on the feet and on the ground, while emphasising control, safety and respect that prioritises your long-term development.

Do students spar in your MMA classes?

Alongside technical instructions, padwork and controlled partner drills, we also include optional sparring in a safe, progressive manner. This helps you:

  • Apply techniques under realistic conditions
  • Improve cardio, confidence and composure under pressure
  • Develop fight IQ and tactical awareness
  • Learn how to train consistently and intelligently

Your progression is based on your attendance, technical development, attitude and all-around performance in training (including sparring). If you’re interested in competing in MMA, clear pathways and coaching guidance are also provided.
