Frequently asked questions

Find answers to common questions about the martial arts we teach. If you have any other questions, get in touch.

Absolutely not. Most of our members started as complete beginners. Now, some of them are black belts in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and Kickboxing.

Never. Our experienced coaches ensure training is adapted to your ability and what you’re comfortable with, and you’ll see your cardio and fitness improve over time.

That’s completely normal before your first class. Our coaches and members are used to welcoming beginners and will gladly guide you through your first class so you feel comfortable and supported. They’ll tell you that when they started, they felt just as nervous, too.

Not at all. Flexibility and coordination improve naturally the more you train. Our classes are designed to help you progress step-by-step, regardless of your starting point.

Yes. Our experienced kids’ coaches ensure safety, structure and supervision are central to every class.

No, and this is a common misconception about martial arts. All our classes emphasise respect, self-control and discipline. Kids are taught when not to use their skills as much as how to use them, helping them become calmer, more confident, and less aggressive.
